The man who brought us Bakewell bread, the roti hut and Edy's ice-cream has now signed documents to bring popular coffee house, Rituals Coffee to Guyana. He also announced plans to have a new food court opened at the site of the now closed Republic Bank on Savage Street, have a roti hut and Edy's location at the airport among other plans...Thank you, thank you, thank you.Mr. Nasir of bakewell deserves a tremendous amount of praise for all that he has done in the development of Guyana and this is the latest sign of just important the private sector is to this country.

I knew Naeem Nasir as a teenager just out of school. He was a very ambitious young man. Mr. Nasir followed his dream.
