Hamilton Green is a virtual nuisance

THE following is the full text of a statement issued on Sunday evening by Office of the President press official Mr. Kwame McCoy expressing his sadness at comments made by Mayor of Georgetown Mr. Hamilton Green on his (McCoy’s) appointment to the Rights of the Child Commission.

An edited version of the statement was carried in yesterday’s edition of the Chronicle. However, the ‘full text’ of the statement is as follows:

It was with a tinge of sadness I read the comments by Mayor Hamilton Green on my appointment to the Rights of the Child Commission. I’ll be the first to admit that I have unmatched experience and ability as Mayor Hamilton Green does in ‘garbage’ management.

Imagine as difficult as it is, a rancorous, condescending, erasable, crass and contentious Hamilton Green attempting to comment on my character and suitability for such appointment.

I am a young man who has been taught to have respect for my Elders, and I am indeed saddened that someone of his "ilk" would state as a matter of public record to quote: "He does not have the calibre to be positioned in such a crucial arena", and “ the PPP Government can surely find other ways to reward those who seem to be the lineal descendants of Esau who sold a birthright for a mess of pottage”, as well as the mendacity of your statement about my employment as your Personal Assistant does not surprise me, since you have been known as someone who twists the truth.

Let us set the records straight. Did you graduate from Queen’s College? The answer is no but your profile states "educated at the prestigious Queen’s College". How long did you attend Queen’s College?

Rakesh Rampertab in his article " BEG, BRIBE AND BULLY, writes, “ When a society degenerates, it does so slowly at first and then steadily thereafter. As people become more and more desperate previously held social values begin to plummet, and this allows for vice to assume the role of normalcy (if not virtue) with little complains from civilians. This is part of the degradation that has happened to Guyana, which made it possible for oddities to occur -- such as Hamilton Green becoming Mayor of Georgetown, even though he is publicly accused of having a disreputable past and responsible for many ill-reputed public incidents.

It must be noted that I have never killed, sexually abused and or operated criminal enterprises. Neither have I had unquestionable relationships with contractors or has ever stolen any property belonging to the State. No businessman has ever granted me the favour of a new car in return for eliminating his property off of the rates and taxes register at City Hall.

Mr. Hamilton Green you are a virtual nuisance and I strongly suggest that you continue to do penance for all of the wrongs you have done from the 1960s to present day. In keeping with this season of Lent, I forgive you.

Can any of you imagine someone close to President Obama speaking like this? Anyways, like his boss Kwame has no respect for the office or the position he holds. Not surprising though, it's not like he worked to acquire it, it was gifted to him and some people have no appreciation for things that they didn't acquire off their own.

With all these accusations that Kwame is implying against Green, it begs the question, why was nothing done? take the evidence to the police and let them deal with the matter? but again, like his boss, they prefer to sit on information then conveniently mention them to suit their best interests.

One thing is for certain though, mess not with dem anti-men, they sure can buse. Kwame really throw down on Green in this one. Hell Hath No Fury Like A Gay Man Scorned eh?
