The Frequent Flyer is at it again

Now does that surprise anymore? Does anything that Mr. Jagdeo do these days surprise anyone? (well except maybe dance with a woman).

This time, His Excellency will be whisking himself away to Switzerland for a so-called ‘important’ meeting to discuss the global economic crisis. While not denying that there is a financial crisis, this particular forum is probably not the place to have a ‘serious’ discussion about it. The World Economic Forum, that Mr. President is planning on attending, usually consists of some meetings and debates and at the end, some reports will be published which no one seems to bother with. It’s been criticized for accomplishing little of substance since its inception.

It was reported however that China’s Premier, and Russian leader (Everybody knows Putin is the real head) will be in attendance and considering that our President shares some ideological similarities with these two especially; I guess he’ll be anxious to catch up with his communist buddies. Or it could be that Bharrat is just looking to leave this depressing land -- he’s not the only one.
