Fourth straight loss for Guyana in the current regional four day competition is totally unacceptable. Someone in the local cricket organization needs to make a divine intervention and do something to prevent this Guyana team from slipping into further decline.
Imagine this, The Windward Islands have 36 points, that's 36 more than Guyana. That is shameful! No offense to the Windward's, but they were always one of the teams Guyana could count on to do better than but now there's this.
Cricket has always been one of our pride, even when very little seems to be going well in our country, cricket often remained solid and gave us hope. When the WI team was struggling, our own national team was performing credibly...what went wrong?
Serious questions need to be asked of our cricket bosses and serious answers and solutions must be forthcoming.
